The greatest danger for a believer after receiving the revelation of grace is not satan, but the mixture of law and grace! After receiving grace, many people go right back to performance-based living because it makes them feel good about their own worth. Their self-esteem is not found in Christ, but in what they have done! We are to live by faith, not by performance! “How foolish can you be? After starting your Christian lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?” Gal. 3:3
