Over the years many people have abused the gift of prophecy! Some good advice about “personal prophecy”! Never receive a word from someone if it doesn’t line up with God’s Word and bears witness to your spirit! Reject any word that does not build up, encourages, and comforts you! “But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.” 1 Cor. 14:3
